,Mazar of Mirza Ghalib is a historic monument located in Agra district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is dedicated to celebrated Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib (1797-1869). The Mausoleum is situated along the bank of River Yamuna, near Taj Mahal. It is a combination of a mazhar – a structure that marks the burial spot of a saint or Sufi, with a dargah – a complex in which devotees regularly pay homage to the deceased. The mausoleum was built by Mirza Ghalib’s second daughter and her husband, in the late 19th century. The Mirza Ghalib Mazar is home to a large number of portraits, including those of the poet's family and his contemporaries. There is also a display detailing the poet's life, times, and works. For the devotees, many of Ghalib's works are kept in the complex and a Qawwali performance is held every Thursday evening (the night of Mirza Ghalib's death) and one annually on 10 Muharram. The mazar is open to the public everyday from 8 in the morning to 10 in the night.
