Overview:
The Mausoleum of Baba Garibnath is a shrine dedicated to Sikh Guru Baba Garibnath, located in the Dhaka district of Bangladesh. It was built in the late 17th century by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the 12th Sikh Guru. The mausoleum is a popular place of pilgrimage for the Sikh community in Bangladesh. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The Mausoleum of Baba Garibnath is a two-storied structure surrounded by a high-walled compound. It features a four-feet high marble sculpture of Guru Baba Garibnath, flanked by four armed soldiers and a few religious paintings. In addition, the mausoleum features a decorated entrance and a section offering darshan to guests. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
