Markaz Jama Masjid is one of the most famous mosques in Dindigul, India. The mosque is located near the junction of Dindigul-Bengaluru Highway and Kozhumam Road, about 5 km from the city centre. The best way to reach Markaz Jama Masjid is by taking a local bus from Dindigul. Buses run every 10 minutes and a one-way journey takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, one can also take a taxi from Dindigul, although the fare may be slightly higher than that of the bus. The journey will take about 10 minutes in a taxi. It is also possible to reach the mosque by taking a local auto-rickshaw. Auto-rickshaws are usually available outside the city centre and fares will start from INR 35.
