Overview:
Kanhaiya ji ka mandir is a revered Hindu temple located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is believed to be one of the seven temples where Krishna showed his divine form. It is said that during this time, the sanctuaries were constructed and consecrated. This temple is also known in other names such as ‘Banke Bihari temple’ and ‘Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mandir’. History:
This temple is known for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. It consists of a sizeable shrine with idols of Lord Krishna and Radha. The idols are crafted from precious black marble stone. Inside the temple, you can find several other idols of different gods and goddesses in beautiful and attractive poses. There is a cot near the corner of the sanctum sanctorum that is believed to be used by Lord Krishna while he was in his teenage.
