Brief History:

: Jama Masjid, Bhusawal is the oldest mosque in the Bhusawal region of Maharashtra, India. It was built in the 17th century by Hazrat Moulana Qazi Mian Noor Muhammad Nadvi. The mosque is located in a large area, near the town hall in Bhusawal. It has a large number of minarets and domes, and its walls are decorated with Islamic calligraphy. The mosque offers five-time prayers daily and is a major landmark for the Muslim community in Bhusawal. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

Architecture:

The Jama Masjid in Bhusawal is a typical specimen of Mughal architecture. Although it is less grand than the monumental structures in some of India's other cities, it is still impressive and indicative of its era. The prayer hall of the masjid is rectangular and is covered by a large domed roof. Four smaller domes of lesser height envelop the main sanctuary of the masjid. The walls and ceiling are decorated with intricate geometric designs, geometrical floral patterns and various verses from the Qur'an, in elegant calligraphy. The boundary wall of the masjid is quite wide and has 12 high-arched semi-circular openings that provide entrance to the main hall. Two tiny minarets rise at the corners of the structure adding to the grandeur of the architecture. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Visiting Hours:

Jama Masjid in Bhusawal is open to visitors from sunrise to sunset. However, please note that it remains closed on all government holidays. best mosque in the world.

The mosque is located opposite the railway station in Bhusawal. The nearest airport to Jama Masjid is the Aurangabad Airport, which is located around 187 kilometers away from the city. The nearest major railway stations are the Bhusawal Railway Station and the Jalgaon Railway Junction which are both within 7 kilometers of the mosque. There is also a regular bus service provided by both state and private operators that ply the route. The bus services also provide access to the nearby cities of Aurangabad, Dhule and Nashik. The mosque is open for visitors throughout the year except on Fridays when it is strictly for the worship of God.
