Duladeo Temple is a famous Hindu temple that is located in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the most important monuments of the Khajuraho Group of Monuments. The temple is also referred to as the 'Duladeo Ka Mandir' or the 'Duladevi Temple'. The temple has a rich history that dates back to the Pala era and was built around 950 AD. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The temple is built in the northern style, which is characterised by the integration of Hindu and local architectural styles. Its most striking feature is the elegant and detailed carvings of Hindu and Jain deities, animals, and historical events which can be seen all over the temple.
