e Bhikham Shah Da Maqbra, Ghuram is a historic monument located near Village Chak, at a distance of around 36 kilometers away from town Talwandi Sabo in District of Bathinda, Punjab, India. The maqbara, was established by the renowned Sufi Saint Syed Bhikham 'Ali Shah. It is a burial complex that comprises of several grave tombs and a large domed mosque. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
•The entrance holds a large gate that leads to a courtyard with a huge dome in the center. •The complex is covered with red bricks which are joined together by the use of lime mortar. •The dome is made of burnt bricks and decorated with intricate aerial tile work in blue, green and pink colors. •The interior walls of the dome have several intricate designs on them. •It also houses several graves, the most prominent of which is the grave of the Sufi Saint himself.
