Hall Jr., a former pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Pickens, South Carolina. Victory Baptist Church is firmly rooted in the fundamental beliefs of the Baptist tradition, emphasizing the authority of the Bible, salvation by grace through faith, and the autonomy of the individual church. Victory Baptist Church was founded in 1973 by Dr. Glen L. Hall Jr. upon his resignation from New Hope Baptist Church. Dr. Hall sought to establish a church that would stay true to the fundamentals of the Baptist tradition, and thus Victory Baptist Church was formed.
