History:

The history of Swaminarayan Mandir - Rose Hall started in the year 1844 with the efforts of Late Acharya Pandit Purushottumdasji and Late Shree Balkrishanadasjimaharaj. The present form of this grand mandir was done in the year 1914 and is situated alongside the Corentyne River. This was the first temple of Guyana initiated by His Divine Holiness Acharya Tejendraprasadji Maharaj and was the fifth branch of Bochasanwasi Shree Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha in the world.
