Kingston Methodist Church is a Methodist church located in Kingston, Rhode Island. Founded in 1777 by the Reverend Joseph Jenckes Jr., the church has a long and storied history. The original building, located on South Main Street, was erected in 1792 and dedicated in 1794. The current building, designed in the Gothic Revival style and located on Prospect Street, was dedicated in 1876. The church has a number of fascinating historical artifacts, from its original 1772 bell to Jenckes’ original Bible.
