Maranatha Brethren Gospel Hall is an independent Christian church in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is part of the Brethren in Christ denomination, also known as the “Weivalo” or “Maranata” churches. The church was founded in 1868 and is one of the oldest Brethren in Christ churches in Canada. It is one of the best churches in Guyana which you must visit.

History:

The church was started in the early 1800s by Brethren in Christ immigrants who left their homes in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia to farm the land of southern Ontario, now present-day Niagara Falls. The church grew steadily and in 1868, the church moved to a new building and the name was changed from “Weivalo” to Maranatha Brethren Gospel Hall. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Guyana.
