Paradise Baptist Church was formed in 1990 in Russellville, Arkansas as an independent Baptist church. Prior to this, the church met in the homes of various families and leaders in the community. In 1992, the church purchased a new building and has been located there since. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Guyana.
