The worship method of Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Gadhada, Gujarat is rooted in the teachings of the Hindu saint and founder of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, Shri Swaminarayan. The temple follows traditional Vaishnavite worship of god, celebrating the mantra, “Jai Swaminarayan”. Worship at the temple begins with Mangal Aarti, where devotees gather to offer a prayer to Shri Swaminarayan, followed by a lecture and commentary on religious scriptures. Afterwards, Darshan of Shri Swaminarayan takes place along with Kirtan (devotional singing). On festive occasions, devotees gather to perform a traditional Rath Yatra (chariot procession).
