The worship of Rishabhadev Temple in Girnar, Gujarat is based on several traditional Vedic practices, including chanting of mantras, offering of fruits, ghee, flowers and homa, and conducting of Rajyabhishekam (ritual of coronation). prayers are offered to Rishabhadev, the first tirthankara of Jainism, and his consort Padmavati, both of whom are worshipped as the principal deities at the temple. In the main sanctum, Rishabhadev and Padmavati are depicted with folded hands and seated on a throne.
