Harsiddhi Mata Temple in Patan, Gujarat, is one of the most Eastern Janapada Shrines in India. It is one of the few Janapada Shrines that still follow the same traditional method of worship and paying homage to the divine matriarch, Harsiddhi Mata. Devotees visits this revered temple early in the morning to seek the divine mother's blessing. The main form of worship practiced in Harsiddhi Mata Temple is aarti (a Hindu ritual of paying homage) and puja. At the start of puja, the archana (chanting of mantras) of the deity is done accompanied by the ringing of bells. After this, sacred mantras are uttered and aartis performed with the lighting of diya (source of light) by devotees to show their love and devotion. The chanting of mantras, ringing of bells, and paying homage to the deity with reverence are the main part of the worship process.
