Palpung Yeshe Gatshal Finland is a Vajrayana Buddhist meditation centre located in the city of Lammi, Finland. The Centre is affiliated with the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism, a tradition of Tibetan Buddhism that is headed by His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje. The Centre offers regular group retreats, initiations, meditation teachings and study programs. The main practice of the Centre is the Six Yogas or Six Dharmas of Naropa, which are both meditation practices and visualisations of self-liberation. During retreats, practitioners are encouraged to meditate daily, and to also practice other Buddhist practices such as chanting, prostrations and visualizations. There are also opportunities for individual consultations with experienced teachers. In addition to meditation and visualization practices, there are a number of other spiritual activities that are common at the Centre. These include mantra recitations, devotion practices, and pujas (rituals). Participants are also encouraged to take part in activities such as compassionate listening, and giving of donations.
