The Pacific Conference of Churches (PCC) Secretariat is the regional ecumenical organization that supports the development and growth of churches, both Protestant and Catholic, in the countries of the Pacific Ocean. The Secretariat is based in Suva, Fiji, and is affiliated to the World Council of Churches and the Asian Pacific Centre for Ecumenism. It is one of the best churches in Fiji which you must visit.

History:

The PCC was founded in 1968, with the representatives of seven churches in the Pacific Islands meeting in Suva in Fiji, to establish a regional "ecumenical church body" for the countries involved. In 1971, the PCC was made an official member of the World Council of Churches, following a successful application. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.

The Secretariat host regular regional and inter-regional meetings and carries out international theological dialogues and exchanges.
