It is a member of the Fiji Assemblies of God (FAOG) and was founded with the vision to reach Fiji with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples of the nations. It is committed to the revival of the church and its mission is to “bring the reality of the Kingdom of God in the nation of Fiji”. Kinoya Assembly of God was started in 2005 by Pastor Haitesh Sharma who was inspired by the Holy Spirit to set up a church in Fiji. In 2009, the church was officially registered with the Fiji Islands Government. It sponsors and runs several ministries, including children’s ministry, youth ministry, education ministry, and music ministry. The church also holds several weekly Bible studies.
