The Church was founded in 1971 by two Christian brothers, Revs Ken Blair and Bryan Tipping. Rev Blair dedicated his life to serving God and his message and was a strong influence to the parishioners in the years leading up to his death in 1986. The church was initially a small mission house for the Presbyterian Church, but it grew to become one of the largest Christian congregations in Fiji.
