First Assembly of God church in Fiji is a non-profit, evangelical Christian church of the Pentecostal faith. It is a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination. It was established in 1935 by the missionary Dr. James A. McGraw as an avenue to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Fiji. The church has since grown to be Fiji’s largest Pentecostal denomination and worldwide has over 1.3 million members.
The church’s mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip Christians to be empowered in their relationship with God. The church offers a variety of services and ministries for people of all ages including Sunday morning worship services, Sunday school classes, small group Bible studies, retreats, counseling, evangelism training, music ministry, missionary trips, and much more.
