Vatuwaqa Church of Christ is a congregation and a member of the Churches of Christ, located in the town of Vatuwaqa, Fiji. It was established in the late 19th century and is associated with the Tongan mission to the region. It is one of the best churches in Fiji which you must visit.

History:

The Church was initially established and maintained by the Tongan missionaries who arrived in 1892 as part of the missionary activities of Rev. Clerk. The first building for the Church, an open air structure, was completed in 1894 and was used for five years until a new building was constructed from 1899 to 1902. This building is still in use today. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.
