EAÕK Uruste Issanda Taevaminemise Kogudus In Estonia is an Evangelical Lutheran church located in the Uruste village, Põlva County, Estonia. Founded in 1883, the church belonged to the Estonia Apostolic Orthodox Church (EAÕK) up until the Soviet occupation in 1940. During the Soviet occupation, the church was closed and used as a warehouse. In 2012, it was reopened and now serves as both a historic curiosity and an active church. The church is known for its unique architecture, having been built with an octagonal plan. Its interior is largely composed of wooden elements and features an iconostasis, several sculptures, and many icons. Services are currently held in both Estonian and Russian. The church also hosts events and weddings.
