Aseri Peterburi püha õndsa Ksenia kirik In Estonia: History,Facts, & Services

This church was first mentioned in the course of 1768 in an inventory book of the Aseri parish, which proves its age. Then it was the main church of the Aseri village until 1941 when the plague of timber-worms destroyed it. In 1964 it was restored and consecrated in its new form. A few elements of the original baroque design still survive such as the bell tower, the so-called Byzantine style onion dome and the two-storey portico in front.
