St Luke's Church, Holbrooks In England: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The foundation stone for St Luke's was laid on 7th July 1877 by the Bishop of Coventry and the church was consecrated a few months later on 1 November. The church was intended to act as a daughter church of St Thomas' Coventry, which was 1.5 miles distant, and was designed by the renowned Victorian architect, William Butterfield. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.

St Luke's is an active centre for the Diocese of Coventry, and is a Grade II listed building. It is an irregularly shaped building with octagonal ridge turrets, in an Early English style. It has a tall spire, and is around 93 feet long and 27 feet wide, stretching 88 feet in height, including the spire.

St Luke's Church regularly provides services such as Sunday Services, prayers, evening sermons, taize services and Bible classes, as well as other social events and religious studies. The church offers an open invitation to all members of the local community regardless of faith or beliefs.This beautiful church in England has made a lot of significance in the past.
