History:
St. Germain's Catholic Church was established in 1865 by Father Joseph Herve, a priest of the Sulpician Order, based in France. Fifteen Catholic families situated on the outskirts of Dallas gathered to build the small wood-frame church out of cedar logs. Father Herve served as the first pastor of the newly-formed parish until his death in 1868. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.

The original building of St. Germain's Church was constructed of cedar logs harvested from the nearby area. The present-day church building was erected in 1887 and the parish has undergone constant change and growth since then. In 1928, a new parish hall was constructed, and in 1971 the church was renovated and given its present-day Gothic appearance.

St. Germain's Church offers a variety of worship services, including weekly Sunday Mass, daily Mass, devotions such as the rosary, and special music. The parish also offers an array of other services including religious education, youth programming, outreach, pastoral counseling and spiritual direction.This beautiful church in England has made a lot of significance in the past.
