Church On The Farm is an annual music and arts festival located on a farm in rural England. It was created as an alternative to mainstream festivals and a way for performers to share their talents in a more grassroots setting. The festival has a strong focus on sustainability, with a model of zero waste, use of renewable energies, and a rule of no single-use plastics allowed. Church On The Farm also strives to create an atmosphere of community and inclusion, where everybody is welcome. History Church On The Farm was founded in 2009 by Jonny Ingram and Tom Brand. The first Church On The Farm was held at Lane End Farm near Chipping Norton. The festival sees over 13, 000 attendees every year and features performances from artists such as Alt-J, Slaves, Bombay Bicycle Club and James Blunt. Facts • Church On The Farm is the UK's first green music festival. • It has been supported by the likes of Radio 1, the Guardian and the NME. • Every year, the festival works with a charity partner, donating a percentage of ticket sales to support their work and giving festival-goers the opportunity to get involved. Services Church On The Farm provides visitors with a range of activities to get involved in. These include guided tours, music and art workshops, yoga and tai chi classes, and farm activities such as goat milking, shearing and harvesting. The festival also boasts a variety of craft stalls and local street food stalls, plus a fully stocked bar, tea shop and a late-night silent disco.
