St Andrews Church Rugby In England: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The church was built in 1838 to replace an earlier church on the site, dedicated in 1268. It was designed by the well-known local architect, Thomas Henry Wyatt, who also designed the nearby Rugby School chapel. The 1838 church was consecrated on 28th May 1839. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
