Saint Botolph's Church, Longthorpe is a Grade I listed church in the village of Longthorpe, near Peterborough, in the United Kingdom. It was built during the 13th century and is one of very few original examples of decorated gothic architecture. The church has a two-storey south porch which dates back to the 15th century and contains a victorian font. The church was restored in 1854 and the stained glass in the east window was added during this period. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.

History:

Saint Botolph's Church, Longthorpe is said to have been built in the 13th century. It is first mentioned in records in 1220, when the Bishop of Lincoln paid a visit to the church and gave a donation of 20 shillings. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
