St Paul's Church, Leamington Spa In England: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The original contractor of the church was builders William and James Hines, who also worked on nearby All Saints’ Church. The ecclesiastical benefices of both churches were held in conjunction until 1970, when St Paul’s was separated from All Saints’, and the parish of St Paul’s was born. The church underwent a major renovation in 2010, but it still retains many of its historic features including stained glass windows, opened in 1864, and a pipe organ built in 1895. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.

St Paul's stands on an island site, surrounded by Warwick Street and Cleveland Street. The church includes at its western end a spacious open Decorated Gothic tower with a slender spire. It also features a baptistery surrounded by four circular arches and five lancet windows, and a high altar with an impressive reredos.

St Paul's offers a variety of services such as traditional and contemporary worship, as well as music and activities for children and teens. Its weekly services include a Holy Communion service on Sunday mornings, a reflective mid-week service, and a regular children's service.
