Bjerring kirke In Denmark: History,Facts, & Services
Bjerring kirke is a small medieval church located in the north of Denmark, a few kilometres east of Brønderslev. The church was likely built in the 12th or early 13th century, although parts of the fabric may have been re-used from an earlier construction. The rectangular church has a brick apse and a half-timbered chancel and rotunda, and the southern porch is equipped with a bell tower. The church still serves its original purpose of hosting funerals and baptisms, as well as other Christian services. There is a small cemetery adjacent to the church. The church is a listed historic building.
