History:

Hacienda Guachipelin is located on the northern side of Costa Rica in the Guanacaste Province. It has been owned by the same family for more than 80 years. The estate has been passed down between generations of Chacon Berrocal family. It began as a coffee and tobacco farm but soon, the family moved on to become one of the leading producers of beef cattle in Costa Rica. In the mid-1980s, the Chacon Berrocal family decided to diversify and begin offering activities which allowed visitors to explore the wonders of the area. Today, the estate remains a working ranch with a focus on conservation and sustainability.
