Brazil First United Methodist Church is a congregational church located in Brazil, Indiana that was established in 1864. The church began with the establishment of a branch of the Methodist denomination known as the Methodist Episcopal Church, South (MECS). It was the first United Methodist Church in the city of Brazil, and the foundation of its ministry was firmly rooted in Methodist values and principles. For over 150 years, Brazil First has sought to extend the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the greater Vigo County area. Sunday worship services feature a traditional blend of old and new.
