Founded in 2013, the mission of the church is to reach out to people from all backgrounds, helping them to believe in eternal hope, and to live out their Christian lives in the most practical way possible. Kingdomcity Gaborone was established in 2013 by Pastor Lameck and Grace Mudai. The Mudai family has served in the ministry for over 50 years and have been responsible for founding over 50 churches world wide. Kingdomcity Gaborone is part of a larger movement known as the Kingdomcity Network. The church has continued to grow since it was established and currently holds a congregation of over 4000 people. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Botswana.
