The church was founded in 1993 as Freedom United Gospel Church, with Rev. Lane Kilgore as its founding and Senior Pastor. In 2004, the name was changed to Eagles Nest Church, reflecting the congregation’s newfound vision and purpose to reach the Fredericksburg area. Eagles Nest Church has become an integral part of the Fredericksburg community, with a heart for enriching local families, marriages, and individuals.
