The worship method of Serdrup Lhakhang in Haa Valley, Bhutan is based upon Buddhist teachings and is closely related to the Vajrayana and Shambhala Buddhism. The lhakhang (temple) is said to have been built by the great Indian Buddhist master, Padmasambhava, in the 8th Century CE. During worship, practitioners will chant and make offerings, perform rituals and engage in meditation. To reach Serdrup Lhakhang in Haa Valley, you can fly into Paro International Airport located in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. From here, you can take a private vehicle or taxi which will take about 2.5 hours to reach the Lhakhang. Alternatively, you can take a public bus from Paro to Haa, which will take approximately 5-6 hours.
