Cahal Pech Structure B-4 is an ancient Maya archaeological structure located in the Cayo District of Belize. The site is believed to have been first constructed around 1000 BCE. During this time, the Maya were undergoing a period of transition and urbanization known as the Protoclassic, and Cahal Pech was likely part of this process. Cahal Pech Structure B-4 is situated atop a steep ridge and is the tallest structure at Cahal Pech. It is a two-level structure, built from stone blocks and earth, and has several small rooms situated around a central open courtyard. Other structures at the site include plazas, small shrines, and a ballcourt.
