Tserkov' Svyatoy Zhivonachal'noy Troitsy (also known as The Church of the Holy Trinity) is an Orthodox Christian church located in Moscow, Russia. The church was built in 1670–1672 by Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich and it is one of the earliest examples of sacral architecture of the country. The church was designated an official historic monument by the Russian Federation in 1883 and is known for its distinctively beautiful and intricately detailed façade, with five onion domes and stepped gables. Inside, the church is beautifully decorated with vivid fresco paintings, and it is one of the few churches in Moscow that are open to the public and offer regular services.
