Selah Methodist Church In Barbados was built in 1783, making it the oldest Methodist Church in Barbados. It was built by former slave Thomas Burrowes, who was converted to the Methodist faith by its founder, John Wesley. Located in St Philip, the church was named after a Bible word which means pause and reflect.
