Located in the city of Bridgetown, Barbados, the church is now led by Pastor Neville Consill. The church is devoted to promoting the teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the Bible. Christian Mission Headquarters Gospel Tabernacle In Barbados was founded in 1933 when Pastor E.A. Consill, a fervent Pentecostal preacher from British Guiana, was invited to Barbados to lead revival meetings. After the revival was over, the Consills decided to settle in Barbados and form Christian Mission Headquarters Gospel Tabernacle In Barbados. Through the years, the church has continued in the tradition of its founders – worshipping Jesus Christ and serving the spiritual needs of the Barbadian people. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Barbados.

The church offers two services each Sunday morning -- an 8:00 a.m. service and a 10:00 a.m. service. During the week, the church also holds evening services on Wednesday and Bible study meetings on Thursday.
