is a four-domed mosque and one of the oldest and most famous mosques of Manikganj in Bangladesh. It was built by an Afghan leader during the Mughal period in the 16th century. The mosque features a grand prayer hall and houses a large collection of ancient artefacts, frescos and verses from the holy Quran. It is often visited by pilgrims for offering prayers and also serves as a centre for religious teaching. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bangladesh which you must visit.

Architecture:

The architecture of the Shibaloy Jame Mosque is of typical Persian-style Bengal mosques. The mosque was probably built during the Sultanate period, and it was later renovated in the Mughal period. It is a single-domed square mosque, built on a terraced plinth. The dome is supported by four octagonal arches. It also features two kalash (haunchings) at the four corners of the roof. The walls are decorated with terracotta floral and geometric designs. The entrance of the mosque is located on the eastern side. A large pulpit made out of tala (wooden panels) can be seen inside the mosque. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
