Brief History:
is a historic mosque located in Moulvibazar, Bangladesh. The mosque was built in the late 16th century by Raja Manik, the then ruler of Moulvibazar, during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar. The architecture of the mosque follows the traditional Pathan style and it is one of the oldest surviving monuments in Bangladesh. It is also a popular tourist destination, as it also houses numerous antiques and artefacts. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bangladesh which you must visit.

Rajnagar Jame Mosque is an historic mosque located in the Moulvibazar district of Bangladesh. It was built by the Hindu King Raja Veerpal in 1700 AD and was initially a temple which was later converted into a mosque. The mosque has a typical Mughal architecture with a single-domed roof and a grand prayer hall, decorated with elegant stucco work. There are four minarets with decorated turrets at the corners of the structure. The front facade of the mosque is divided into five vertical sections with arched openings at the centre which is decorated with ornate masonry. The interior of the mosque contains exquisite decorative motifs and patterns which are typical of the Mughal architectural style. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

To reach the mosque, visitors can travel by bus or car. The nearest bus station is Rajnagar Bus Stand, located about 2 km from the mosque. There are direct buses available to Moulvibazar from Dhaka.
