There are four minarets with decorated turrets at the corners of the structure. The front facade of the mosque is divided into five vertical sections with arched openings at the centre which is decorated with ornate masonry. The interior of the mosque contains exquisite decorative motifs and patterns which are typical of the Mughal architectural style. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
