The best way to reach Kaptai Jame Mosque is by car. It takes approximately two hours to reach here from Dhaka, by taking the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. Once on the highway, you can take exit number 10 which will take you to the Kaptai Lake. From there you can take a local vehicle towards Kaptai village or you can also try renting a private vehicle to get to the Kaptai Jame Mosque. Another option to reach the mosque is by taking a low budget bus from Dhaka to Rangamati town. Once in Rangamati, you can board a CNG auto-rickshaw or a public vehicle to get to the Kaptai Mosque. The Kaptai Jame Mosque is open from 5 am to 6 pm every day. But you can stay until the late hours just to admire the beauty of the mosque at night.
