The worship method of the Prachin Kali Mandir in Sylhet, Bangladesh is based on Hindu tradition. Devotees enter the temple to perform worship rituals by offering flowers, incense sticks and lamps to the deities enshrined therein. They perform a prostrated or seated form of ritual called puja either facing the deity or while circumambulating the idols.
