The Sahil Park is an urban park in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. It is located at the southeastern part of the city, alongside the Caspian Sea. The park was started in 1971 as an urban improvement project and was opened to the public in 1974. The park consists of a large lawn area, several gardens, a large lake, a fountain, a children's playground, and several pavilions. The park features two central monuments. The first is a 96-meter-high flagpole, the tallest in the Caucasus region. The second is a monument depicting the composer Gara Garayev, who served as an ambassador of Azerbaijan’s culture abroad.
