The 19th century Khachmaz Juma Mosque, located in Khachmaz, Azerbaijan, is a historic mosque with architectural features typical of post-classical mosques in the region. The mosque is constructed primarily of brick and stone, and decorated with intricate stucco ornaments and colorful ceramic tiles. The sanctuary is laid out in a single prayer hall, with a two-tier iwan at the entrance. The iwan is decorated with terracotta tiles in floral and geometric patterns in blue and green. The elevation of the upper level of the iwan has a carved muqarnas niche with four pointed arches in the center. The main hall of the mosque has a wooden ceiling, also decorated with plant motifs. The minbar is topped with a carved mihrab framed by twelve stripes. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Khachmaz Juma Mosque is open seven days a week from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitors are asked to wear modest clothing that covers their arms and legs, and to take off their shoes before entering the mosque.
