The Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is a cathedral located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is the mother church for the Anglican Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador and the seat of the Bishop of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador, the Right Reverend David Torraville. History:

The first church was built on the site of the Cathedral in 1784, but due to increasing population, it was demolished and replaced by a Gothic Revival-style structure in 1843. The Cathedral was extensively damaged in the Great Fire of 1892, and a new gothic-style building, designed by architect William Corbett, was built over the next five years. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Argentina.

The Cathedral is 120 feet (37 m) high, with the roof crossing rising to 125 feet (40 m). The Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is built from local limestone, quarried near Petty Harbour. The bell tower houses two bells - Charles Bowring and Peter Richardson - that were cast in 1878 and 1881.
