1. The Ahobilam Narasimha Swamy Temple is located on the banks of the Ahobalam Lake, around 45 kilometers away from Kurnool in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. 2. Ahobalam Narasimha Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is said to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya, an 8th century Hindu philosopher and theologian. 3. Worship Method:
The worship method of Ahobilam Narasimha Swamy Temple is as follows: 1. The temple has a morning and an afternoon puja followed by an arati in the evening. 2. During the morning puja, the idols of Narasimha Swamy, Sri Lakshmi and Hanuman are offered a special puja and aarti. 3. The devotees then offer jal (water) abhishekam to the deities, followed by Vedic and mantra chanting. 4. Once the puja is completed, the priests offer special prasad to the devotees. 5. In the afternoon, a kirtan (devotional song) and bhajan (devotional prayer) are performed for the Lord Narasimha. 6. During the evening arati, the devotees light lamps and offer aartis (prescribed prayers). 7. Special pujas are held on Sundays and Sankranti (Indian festival of the Sun). 8.
