The Worship Method of the Simhachalam Temple, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh is based on the Vaishnav tradition. Worshipers offer prayers to the presiding deity, Lord Narasimha, in the form of a sandalwood image (utsavamurti) or stone image (moolamurti) and offer flowers, incense, and lamps as daily offerings. The temple complex is open from 4:00 am to 9:30 pm and consists of different rituals and poojas for devotees depending on their purpose of visit.
