Setif Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in the city of Sétif, Algeria. It is the home of the football club CS Sétif and currently holds up to 33,150 people. It is located in the city of Sétif, some 238 kilometers (148 miles) east of Algiers. The stadium was built in 1974 and originally held up to 20,000 spectators. It was expanded multiple times over the years. In 2002, its capacity was increased to 26,000. The most recent expansion came in 2009, when the seating capacity was further extended to 33,000. The renovation included repairs to the press box, locker room, parking lot and stands. The renovation also improved the lighting system and added new video boards.
