Saint Nicholas Church, Perondi is a basilica located in Sirmione, Italy. It is believed to have been built in the 4th century over a small chapel that was erected by St. Severus, who is said to have been the son of Roman Emperor Nero's daughter. The church underwent a series of renovations in the 11th and 12th centuries, and a new altar was added in the 15th century. It was later restored in the 18th century. The church is home to several works of art, including an altarpiece by the noted artist Francesco Raibolini - also known as Francia Bigio. It is one of the best churches in Albania which you must visit.

Saint Nicholas Church, Perondi was probably built in the 4th century and is believed to have been constructed over a small chapel created by St. Severus, the alleged son of Emperor Nero’s daughter. Its history can be traced back to 884 and 885 when it is first mentioned in two documents, confirming the building was dedicated to Saint Nicholas. It underwent another major renovation in the 11th-12th centuries and acquired a new altar in the 15th century. Four centuries later, an extensive restoration was carried out in the 18th century. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Albania.
